Try before you buy or just a fun day out by hiring a Minelab Gold Detector for the day or Weekend.

Minelab Gold Monster 1000 - $55 Per Day.

Minelab Equinox 800 - $55 Per Day.

Minelab SDC 2300 - $65 Per Day or $120 for the Weekend.

Minelab GPX 5000 - $75 per Day or $140 for the Weekend.

Must ring and book first. All detectors for weekend hire are to be collected either Friday afternoon/Saturday morning and returned Monday morning as we are closed Sunday.

• To hire machines, we need a Drivers License, Credit Card or Debit Card, Medicare Card or another card with the person hiring the detector's name on it.
• $1000 Bond per machine, that can be cash or credit card (pending transaction, we dont physically take the money)
• All detectors will be in the factory preset setting and our staff will give you a 15-20 minute run down on the machine.
• Machines will be supplied with Chargers, Pick, Plastic Scoop, Battery, Power Lead and Bag.
• Please note, if you are paying the bond by card, Visa cards can take up to 7 business day to return into your account & Mastercard can take up to 30 business days.
• A Miners Right is required if you intend to prospect on Government land, its $27 for 10 years and is only valid for the state of Victoria. Obtain your Victorian Miners Right Here. (It will open the Victorian State Government Website). You can no longer get hand written licenses, you can fill in the online form in store on the day yourself but we can't fill it in on your behalf.
